Land on a glacier at the base of Mt. McKinley and experience the excitement of standing among the great peaks; the immense scale will astound you. Enjoy the sun, snow, and the unique sounds of the glacier.

Your flightseeing trip begins in Talkeetna, a small Alaskan town big on character and rich in history located about 115 miles (a two and a half hour drive) North of Anchorage. Talkeetna is the nearest town to Mt. McKinley, and it offers stunning scenery, colorful people and healthy salmon runs with the accompanying bears! The town has traditionally been the gathering place for mountain climbers, gold miners and wilderness seekers for over 100 years. Talkeetna, Alaska is a 60 mile flight South of the summit of Mt. McKinley.

After meeting your pilot / guide, you will be seated comfortably in one of the ski-equipped aircraft and provided with voice activated headphones which allows conversation between passengers and pilot.

Everyone has a window seat. As you set out to the mountains, your pilot will describe the history and geology of the area and point out gold mining areas and wildlife.

As you near the Alaska Range, the unparalleled scale of the mountains and glaciers leaves most speechless: mile high granite faces, ice flows thousands of feet thick and some of the largest peaks in the world.

You may even spot climbers scaling some of these giants.

The adventure possibilities in this area are endless, and we would be happy to give some ideas and/or help planning your Alaskan excursion. The rates shown are valid during the summer season from May to Mid September. Winter flights are also available.

You must arrive to check-in 30 minutes before the flight departure time; late arrivals are not guaranteed a seat, and there are no refunds for late arrivals.
